LRHS announces new Executive Director

La Porte Regional Health System (LRHS) announces Debi Baughman as Executive Director of Human Resources, Organizational Development and Wellness.

Baughman assumed her new role on January 25. In her role, she oversees all aspects of human resources management and the coordination of programs to improve organizational performance, wellness services, health promotion and complementary care.

Baughman began her career with LRHS in 1990 and has been a member of the management team since 1999. Prior to her promotion, she served as the Director of Organizational Development and Wellness.

Baughman received her Master of Science in Adult Education from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Bethel College and an Associate of Science in Organizational Leadership and Supervision with a certificate in Human Resources from Purdue University North Central. She has been a part-time faculty member at Purdue University North Central since 2006, teaching a variety of courses for the Department of Business and Organizational Leadership.

Baughman is married to her husband Matt and has two grown children.
