Inpatient Rehab

Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit
The Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit specializes in treating patients who have been disabled by illness or injury and require intensive rehabilitation to reach their highest level of independence and return to home and work. Patients are typically admitted to this unit directly from the hospital. This continuum of care serves patients who have experienced a stroke, joint replacement, amputation, multiple trauma, polyarthritis, muscular disorders, brain, nervous system or spinal cord injuries.
An interdisciplinary team, led by a rehabilitation physician and neurologist, works with specialized nurses, as well as, physical, occupational, and speech therapists in developing individualized treatment plans that meet the needs of our patients. We provide the skills necessary to help our patients and families adjust to the changes in their lives and ease the transition from hospital to home. The therapists work with patients three (3) hours a day making recovery time faster than it would have been otherwise.
Referrals are accepted twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Patient assessments determine individual needs, verify insurance coverage, and coordinate care with physicians, case managers and family members.
